2017 Gator Football Parking at UF — Getting on the Waitlist

Glad to have the last home game of the season end on a high note with a Gator victory in the Swamp! Thanks to everyone who parked and tailgated with us this year.

For anyone who did not get the opportunity to park in one of my lots, please feel free to email me at tailgateuf@gmail.com during the “off-season” to be placed on the wait-list so that you’ll be notified when spaces become available.

For season reservation holders: As in previous years, I will be sending out renewal letters by early March to everyone who reserved spaces this year so that you can secure your same space for next year. Any spaces that have not been renewed by the Orange and Blue Game (early April) then become available to the wait-list and the general public. If you have friends that want to park and tailgate near you next year, just have them contact me and I’ll add them to the wait-list so they’ll be notified when spaces become available.

Because of street closures as well as all the parking that has been removed around the stadium in recent years to build new buildings, football parking has become very difficult to find on Game Day. My wait list is already twice as long for next year as it was for this year, so it’s very important to get on the waitlist if you want a reserved parking space for the whole football season.

In the meantime, I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday and look forward to seeing you next year!

SOLD OUT FOR 2015

All season reserved parking spaces have been sold out for 2015. This past year’s construction around and on campus has taken away well over 1000 tailgating and parking spaces, and remaining spaces are hard to come by. Here’s an article in the Gainesville Sun that goes into further detail:

http://www.gainesville.com/article/20150904/ARTICLES/150909819

We get 2 questions this time of year and thought it would be helpful to answer them briefly here:

1. “Do I have any RV parking?” No, I don’t. There is a place on 13th street near 5th avenue where I have seen some RVs parking, and there is RV parking in some of the Walmart Parking lots in town with shuttles to the stadium.

2. “Do I have any single game parking?” Yes, but it is first come first served on game day. I do not sell single game parking spaces in advance. Lot 5 has single game parking once it opens. I also have a few places along NW 19th street where spots that can’t be sold for the season are available for whatever the price is on the sign.

Be sure to contact us about getting on the waitlist for a space in 2016!

Few Reserved Football Parking Spaces Remain for Gators’ 2015 Season

Few reserved spaces remain for the Fall 2015 Gator Football season!

I think this season has been selling out quicker than in the past few years due to development near and on campus that has swallowed up many parking lots where people used to tailgate. The corner of NW 13th street and University avenue where over 1000 cars used to park on Gameday is now a fenced off construction site. Two campus buildings have been built this year on UF parking lots, further diminishing the availability of parking near the stadium. Unfortunately, some fans (and fans from visiting teams) will find parking more difficult this year. Those who have reserved a space ahead of time for the season will be glad they did!

2015 Reserved Gator Football Parking Now Available!

2015 UF football parking for the fall home games can now be reserved online! Now that I know who is renewing from last year, all remaining spaces are available to the public. Here is how to reserve a space:

  • Go to www.GatorParking.com and click on the tailgating lots overview page to decide what lot you like best.
  • Click on one of the lot pages to see detailed information about each lot and pictures of actual parking and tailgating activities from previous years at that lot.
  • Available spots and pricing are listed underneath the map of the lot.
  • Purchase the space you want by selecting from the dropdown menu of available spaces and choosing “buy now” to pay with credit card through Paypal
  • Spots are reserved on a first come, first served basis.
  • You’ll receive a confirmation email once your payment is made, and in August you’ll received your hangtag for the fall football season!

If you have any questions or would like help choosing a space based on your individual needs, please feel free to give me a call or send me an email. On weekends or evenings I can’t always answer the phone, but leave a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks and I hope you’ll decide to tailgate and/or park with us this fall!

Best Regards and GO GATORS!

Thanks for Another Great Year! And Getting on the Waitlist for UF Football Parking

Now that the last home game is behind us (and we’re undefeated in The Swamp!), I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who parked and tailgated with Gator Parking for the Fall 2012 UF Football season. I hope you appreciated the convenience and service we provided.

Gators #2 in BCS Poll!

The Gators are #2 in the BCS poll, a stunning achiement after last season’s performance. This is turning out to be a great season and for those who are now coming late to the party, I have good news about parking for the remaining home games.

I am going to have pretty good availability for the rest of the season for “day parkers” in Lot 1, which is the closest tailgating lot near the stadium with the largest spaces. I am not taking any more season reservations but all my lots open at 9am and anyone is welcome to pay the day rate (posted on the sign) on a first come first served basis.

For visiting fans looking for a place to park for UF games, note that the football stadium is located at University Avenue and 19th St. If you drive north from University Avenue up 19th street, I have great tailgating areas on the corner of 19th St. and 2nd, 3rd, and 4th avenue. Just drive up, look for the signs saying “tailgating spaces” and see what’s available!
