Corporate & Company Tailgating Packages for Gator Games

If you are an advertiser looking to promote a brand/product to 100,000 football fans, or you are a company looking to reward customers or employees by throwing fantastic tailgates, contact Gator Parking. Top brands and private organizations have used my tailgating spaces for all kinds of events, and I work with event organizers closely to ensure success. Here are a few examples:

Parking for the Gator Orange & Blue Spring Game

I’ve been getting questions regarding Parking and Tailgating for the Orange and Blue game so I thought I’d provide some common answers for everyone.

  • What’s parking look like for the O&B game? About 45-55,000 fans come to watch the gators play in the spring game so overall there’s much less congestion around the stadium. That said, fewer people sell parking for this game so supply is also limited. You can certainly find a space for free within a mile of the stadium, and if you are looking to park within a few blocks you should be able to find space usually for $10-20.
  • And tailgating? Unfortunately, not many people tailgate for the spring game, which is a shame because the weather is usually great and the Gators always win! It probably has more to do with the start time than anything else — the 2011 O&B game kickoff will be at noon. Other years it’s been 1pm, but this year for the first time the game is also on live TV (SUN Sports) so that may have affected kickoff time. Over at our lots, some of our reservation holders still tailgate, so if you come to any of our tailgating lots you can get a decent picture of what it’s like during the season.
  • How do you get tickets? Just get them at the gate, tickets are $5 and seats are first come first served. You CAN order them online at www.GatorZone.com/tickets but the game never sells out.
  • Where should I park for the O&B Game? With us, of course! Most of our regular season parkers don’t come to this game so all available spaces are on a first come, first served basis until we fill up. Easiest way to find us is to drive up 19th St. (which is right across from the stadium) from University Ave and look for the NO BLOCK PARKING signs.

This game will be a great way to bring in the Muschamp Era and will be especially exciting as Spring practices have been closed to fans and the media up until this point. What will they have to show us? Be the first to find out!

Gator Tailgating and Parking for the 2011 Football Season

Wow! What a season 2010 was. More on that later, as this post is to let folks know what we have in store for 2011.

To all reservation holders for the 2010 season, thank you for parking and tailgating with us! I hope you had a great time and are looking forward to next year. I will be sending out renewal letters prior to the 2011 Orange and Blue game, so please contact me if you haven’t gotten a letter by then. All season reservation holders for 2010 get first opportunity to renew before I’ll let someone else take your spot.

To anyone interested in reserving for the 2011 season, please contact me to be placed on the waiting list for next year. Then as soon as spaces become available I will contact you and help you find the perfect tailgating and parking space.

Who would have thought South Carolina would have been the must-win team to beat to make it to the SEC? And what a beautiful day to tailgate it was, despite the unfortunate outcome. The more I tailgate before games, the more I feel tailgating is the meat and potatoes of game day, and the game itself is just the dessert.

Thanks for a great 2010 tailgating season and I hope to see you next year!
